Ahmed Ali Almansoori

Ahmed Ali Almansoori is a professional oud player and researcher committed to preserving and advancing the UAE’s musical heritage. A graduate with distinction from the House of the Oud under the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, he has specialized in the traditional Emirati reesha technique, documenting it as a central element of the nation’s cultural identity.

In his role as a Cultural Diplomacy Ambassador, Almansoori has represented the UAE at international forums, showcasing Emirati music on the global stage. He also helped establish Chorale Al-Arab, one of the country’s leading vocal ensembles, further contributing to the development of collective music-making in the region.

As a composer and performer, he bridges cultures through the oud, mastering global styles while highlighting the instrument’s unique expressive power. His work champions music as a universal language, connecting people across traditions and fostering dialogue through sound.
