Ahmed Taha
Ahmed Taha is an accomplished cellist and orchestra conductor whose musical journey began at the age of six. The grandson of renowned violinist Mohamed El Hefnawi, he carries forward a family legacy of excellence in performance and education. Over the years, he has won top prizes in both Arab and international competitions, establishing himself as a leading figure among his generation of musicians.
Taha has performed and taught extensively across the United Arab Emirates and the wider Arab world, sharing his expertise while engaging with new audiences. Today, he leads the Arabic Music Ensemble at Dubai Opera, a role that reflects his dedication to advancing orchestral traditions and showcasing Arabic music on prestigious platforms.
His career has also taken him beyond the region, with appearances at major festivals and concert halls in London, China, Brazil, Germany, and other global destinations. Through his artistry as both cellist and conductor, Taha continues to bridge cultures and inspire audiences worldwide.

Sherine Tohamy is an oud soloist, being the first female to graduate with distinction from Bait Al Oud, Egypt, and the third overall. Since 2002, she has been a professor at Bait Al Oud (Egypt - UAE) and New York University Abu Dhabi. In addition to holding a BA in French Mass Communication from Cairo University, Sherine has worked as a TV director.
Sherine has released four music albums and performed globally in festivals, concerts, and participated in several workshops. She also recorded oud music for the soundtrack of the popular video game Assassin's Creed.
In 2011, she founded Najmaat, the Arab world's first all-female musical group.
Sherine has mentored and graduated many students, some of whom are now oud professors themselves."
Yamen alawar
Yamen Al-Aawar is a Syrian musician, composer, and professional oud player based in the United Arab Emirates. He won first place as the Best Oud Player at the Dubai Music Festival and has performed in numerous festivals and concerts both in the UAE and abroad. A distinguished graduate of Beit Al Oud in 2019, he also holds a diploma in music and art therapy. Currently, he is pursuing his music studies at the Open University in the UK and has been teaching at Beit Al Oud in Abu Dhabi since 2021. He has also worked as a composer and arranger with institutions such as Foton and various private music centers.
Yamen has composed original music for various artists and TV channels, contributed to soundtracks for short films, and released his own compositions. He is currently developing professional curricula for Arabic music education and offers engaging oud workshops for children
