Bassem Aljaber is a professional double bass player with more than eighteen years of experience performing with ensembles in Syria and internationally. Aljabers versatile style blends classical, jazz, and Arabic music, showcased at major events including Expo Dubai, the Tanweer Festival, Dubai Opera, and Emirates Palace.
Aljaber holds a Bachelors degree in Double Bass Performance from the Higher Institute of Music in Damascus and a Higher Diploma in Teaching Music Strategies from Damascus University. He has served as principal bassist and section leader in national orchestras, bringing leadership and artistry to the stage. Alongside performance, Aljaber has taught at the Higher Institute of Music in Damascus and the National Music Conservatory in Jordan, nurturing the next generation of musicians.
In addition to the double bass, Aljaber plays bass guitar, accordion, and oud, with strong skills in orchestration and sight-reading. He has recorded with international artists, including collaborations with Fairuz, and continues to expand his contributions to both performance and education. Now based in the UAE as a Golden Visa holder, Aljaber remains an active figure in the regions cultural and musical landscape.
