Brittany Wood
Brittany Wood is an accomplished educator, program director, and performer with more than a decade of experience in arts education and community engagement. Based in Dubai, Wood currently leads Firdaus Academy at Firdaus Orchestra and Studio, where she designs impactful programs that nurture young talent and foster cross-cultural collaboration through music and drama.
Wood holds a Bachelor of Science in Music Education from the University of South Florida and has directed and taught theatre and music programs across the United States and the UAE. Her work has earned recognition for its culturally responsive content and dynamic leadership. As a trained soprano and stage actress, Wood has appeared in more than twenty productions, including Cabaret, The Secret Garden, and Evil Dead: The Musical, while also directing youth theatre in underserved communities.
Passionate about the transformative power of the arts, Wood combines strategic planning, creative vision, and hands-on experience to build bridges between education and performance, making a lasting contribution to cultural development in the UAE and beyond.
