Daniel Goldstein, known professionally as Dan Greenpeace, is a veteran UK radio host, DJ, and producer whose career in hip-hop culture spans nearly four decades. Beginning his radio journey in 1986 and moving into production by 1989, Goldstein established himself as a pioneering voice in the genre. Alongside DJ Yoda, he became one of the first hip-hop DJs to feature on Pete Tongs prestigious BBC Essential Mix, marking a milestone in UK broadcasting history.
Goldstein co-founded The All City Show on Londons XFM with Zane Lowe, a groundbreaking rap program that brought underground hip-hop to mainstream radio audiences. Beyond radio, Goldstein has collaborated widely, producing influential projects that have shaped the soundscape of British hip-hop.
Now returning his focus to studio work, Goldstein is developing a new album project, with the first single released in April to critical acclaim. He also curates a monthly mix series available globally on Apple Music, continuing to share his vision and passion for hip-hop with international audiences. Through broadcasting, production, and performance, Goldstein has cemented his place as a key figure in the evolution of hip-hop culture.
