Fares Aldahhan
Fares Al-Dahhan is a master percussionist and drummer from Damascus, Syria, now based in Dubai. A graduate of the Damascus Conservatory with a Bachelor of Music in percussion, he has built a career that bridges his Syrian heritage with the UAEs dynamic contemporary music scene.
Growing up in Damascus, Al-Dahhan was captivated early on by the rhythms of local musicians performing in souks and community gatherings. These experiences nurtured his passion and led him to pursue formal training, refining his craft in both classical and contemporary percussion.
Since relocating to Dubai, Al-Dahhan has become an active presence in the UAEs cultural landscape, performing across diverse platforms and inspiring emerging musicians. Through his artistry, he blends tradition with modern expression, adding depth and rhythm to the regions evolving musical identity.
