Hebatullah Selim is a classical singer and performer dedicated to both Western operatic traditions and the preservation of Arab musical heritage. She began her vocal training at the Cairo Opera House’s Center for Talents Development, studying under esteemed sopranos and professors including Dr. Niveen Alouba, Dr. Tahya Shams El Din, and Dr. Hanan El Guindy. She later continued her studies at the Geneva Conservatory in Switzerland with Madame Michelle Mose, gaining exposure to European vocal techniques and performance practices.

In parallel, Selim studied Arab music heritage with renowned singer and scholar Mohsen Farouk, an experience that has profoundly shaped her musical identity. She has performed on multiple occasions at the Cairo Opera House and is currently advancing her training at Bayt Al Oud in Abu Dhabi, specializing in Arab classical traditions.

In 2025, she appeared at La Fête de la Musique at the Alliance Française Abu Dhabi and took part in a summer concert at Bayt Al Oud. Alongside her artistic career, Selim serves as an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Zayed University, where her academic focus on culture and cultural politics complements her musical practice, bridging scholarship and performance.
