Jovita Bhaumik
Jovita Bhaumik is a dynamic teen artist contributing to Dubais performing arts scene through her work as a songwriter, singer, and theatre performer. A Grade 8 Trinity Rock & Pop distinction holder, she has already achieved international recognition, becoming a three-time World Champion at the World Championships of Performing Arts (WCOPA) in Los Angeles.
Her growing profile includes appearances on Dubai One, Dubai Eye 103.8, and in a viral BOTIM campaign, showcasing her ability to reach audiences across multiple platforms. As the founder of Cadence Collective, Bhaumik has mentored more than 80 young singers, helping them develop confidence, technique, and stage presence.
She has also performed on prestigious international stages, including Carnegie Hall, where she appeared as an American Protégé first-place winner. Her original song Loveless was a 2025 UK Song Academy Top 30 finalist and is now available on all major streaming platforms. Ahmad Rammal My Musical Journey My name is Ahmad Rammal, and music has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Over the years, Ive developed a deep appreciation for world music, particularly traditional sounds from India, the Middle East, Turkey, the Balkans, and Spain. These influences have found their way into my phrasing and melodic sense, blending Eastern textures with Western structures.Outside of guitar-driven music, Im also passionate about Latin music and dance. Theres something powerful in the way rhythm and movement connect both are instinctive, expressive, and deeply human. Theyve helped shape not just how I play, but how I feel music.
Abdullah Suhad Najm
Abdullah Suhad Najm is a distinguished Kanoun musician and educator with over 33 years of experience in the field of music. He began his academic journey in Baghdad, earning a Diploma in 1993 from the Institute of Musical Studies, where he specialized in the Kanoun. He later completed his Bachelors degree in Fine Arts, with a focus on Musical Arts, at the University of Baghdad in 2001. His academic credentials were recognized internationally, and in 2016, the Belgian authorities officially granted him an equivalence in Musical Studies.
Throughout his extensive career, Abdullah has held teaching and performance roles across several countries. He taught at the University of Baghdad and at various universities in Tunisia, contributed to cultural centers in Belgium, and performed at the Opera House in Kuwait. In 2025, he will join the prestigious Bayt Al Oud in the United Arab Emirates as a Kanoun instructor.
Abdullah is deeply committed to teaching the Kanoun academically to students of all ages and skill levels. Since 2010, he has developed and refined his own structured method for Kanoun instruction, a system that blends technical precision with a deep appreciation for the instruments rich heritage. His mission remains clear: to pass on his knowledge and passion for the Kanoun through dedicated, high-quality education.
