Magdalena Wajdzik is a pianist and educator with more than 17 years of teaching and performing experience. Specializing in chamber music while also active as a soloist and ensemble player, Wajdzik is particularly drawn to contemporary classical repertoire. Before relocating to Dubai, she focused extensively on this field, performing at festivals and collaborating with emerging composers. She is a laureate of the Park Lane Group in London, dedicated to contemporary music, and received a performance prize at the Royal Festival Hall.
Wajdzik studied at the Nowowiejski Music Academy in Poland, the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire in the UK, and the Liszt Academy in Hungary. She has performed internationally across Poland, the UK, the United States, Hungary, and the UAE, earning multiple awards during her academic career.
In the UAE, Wajdzik collaborates with leading musicians in chamber settings, including violinists and clarinetists, and has previously performed as part of a piano duo. Her chamber music work includes engagements at New York University Abu Dhabi.
Alongside performance, Wajdzik is a dedicated educator at NLCS Dubai, where she teaches piano and music theory. She also serves as accompanist for ensembles such as orchestras, choirs, and student soloists preparing for exams and concerts. As an accompanist, she is a member of the National Youth Choir in Dubai under the direction of Rob Johnston.
