Natalia Vaskinova is a Finnish violinist based in Dubai, where she teaches violin and viola at Dubai College. Coming from a musical family, she began studying violin at the age of four and went on to build a distinguished academic and professional career.

Vaskinova holds a Master’s degree in Violin Performance from the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, as well as Bachelor’s degrees from both the Sibelius Academy and the Metropolia University of Applied Sciences. She has studied with prominent musicians including Pavel Vernikov (Vienna University), Isaac Malkin (Manhattan School of Music), Mikhail Kopelman (University of Rochester), Jaakko Ilves (Sibelius Academy), and Sergey Sarkisiants (Oulu Conservatory).

An active performer of contemporary classical music, Vaskinova has taken part in numerous premieres across the Nordic countries and the UAE, both as a soloist and as a member of orchestras and ensembles under the direction of renowned conductors such as Klaus Mäkelä, Mikko Franck, Susanna Mälkki, and Sakari Oramo.

In recent years, she has performed widely across Europe and the Middle East, including her 2021 debut as a soloist with the MECMA Orchestra at the Dubai Classical Music Festival. She is also a founding member and second chair of the Middle East Concert Artists ensemble, and an active member of the NSO Symphony Orchestra, frequently appearing at Dubai Opera and the Coca-Cola Arena. Her collaborations include performances with internationally acclaimed artists such as Hans Zimmer, Omar Kamal, and Andrea Bocelli.
