Qurram “Q” Hussain
Qurram Hussain, widely known as Q, is a Canadian musician of Pakistani descent and the lead vocalist, songwriter, and creative force behind JoSH, the internationally acclaimed South Asian fusion band. With four award-winning albums and 21 music videosall of which reached the Top 5 on global music chartsHussain has established a reputation as a trailblazer in cross-cultural music.
Over the course of an international career, Hussain has collaborated with artists including Nelly Furtado, Priyanka Chopra, Pitbull, DJ Domeno, Apache Indian, Karl Wolf, Sukhbir Singh, Shafqat Amanat Ali Khan, and Komal Rizvi, while performing across more than 150 cities worldwide.
Beyond performance, Hussain has served as a brand ambassador for McDonalds, Nokia, and Samsung. His jingles Samsung Core Lay, Dil Mein Chumkay, and Zara Josh Pakar became widely recognized through Samsung television campaigns. A Gibson artist, he has also been featured on Coke Studio and Cornetto Pop Rock, further broadening his international reach.
