Tarek Salhieh
Tarek Salhieh is an accomplished educator and professional guitarist with more than three decades of experience in both teaching and performance. With over 30 years dedicated to education, Salhieh has worked with children, teenagers, adults, and individuals with special needs, developing a flexible, student-centered approach that emphasizes individual differences and fosters confidence and motivation. His deep understanding of emotional and behavioral needs enables him to create safe, engaging learning environments, while his expertise in curriculum design and clear, effective instruction ensures meaningful outcomes for every learner.
Parallel to his educational career, Salhieh has established himself as a distinguished guitarist with more than 35 years of professional performance experience. He has performed alongside leading Arab artists, including the legendary Fairuz, and has appeared in concerts across a wide range of formats, from solo recitals to duo, trio, quartet, quintet, and orchestral performances. For two decades, he taught guitar at the Higher Institute of Music in Syria, where he mentored aspiring musicians and contributed significantly to advanced music education in the region.
Through this combined career as an educator and performer, Mouhamade Tarek Salhieh continues to shape the landscape of music and education, uniting technical mastery with a lifelong commitment to fostering artistic growth and learning.
